Groups and Workshops

The Hunter Women’s Centre offers a variety of groups and workshops throughout the year that are deisgned to provide resources, support, information and strategies to support women in addressing issues that might be impacting on their lives. Groups and workshops provide an environment where women can share common experiences and  bring about positive change in their lives. The program varys each term and  includes topics such as  Domestic Violence, Self Esteem, Communication and Assertiveness and Personal Boundaries.

Childminding provided by qualified and experienced workers is available for mothers attending day-time groups and workshops at the Centre. If you require childminding please inform a staff member when booking in for a group or workshop.
