Friday morning from 11 am – 1.30 pm. It is an excellent group
to join if you would like to become part of a friendly and supportive
group, are waiting to see a counsellor or would like ongoing support
after counselling.
This group provides ongoing friendship, support and discussion
of issues that are important to you. It is facilitated by a counsellor
and is tailored to the needs of the women attending. There are regular
guest speakers and presentations on topics of interest.
SOS has a program of special interest events throughout the year.
Discoveries
Discoveries is a 9 week program that addresses the long term effects
of child sexual assault. In this group we provide a supporting environment
for you to become aware of your own resources, strengths and successes.
Discoveries seeks to challenge the cultural and personal stories
of women who have been sexually abused in childhood.

and experiences of depression in a safe and mutually supportive
environment, and develop strategies to keep the blues away in daily
